The R35 GT-R, nicknamed “Godzilla”, is a four-seat supercar with all-wheel drive and a hand-built engine. It’s famous for supercar-beating acceleration at a lower price.
Before 2007, the GT-R was part of the Nissan Skyline family (R32, R33 and R34), sold only in Japan with right-hand drive. They’re now valuable collector cars. Nigeria does not register right-hand-drive vehicles unless converted, and converting a collectible Skyline destroys much of its value, so very few are in Nigeria.
The GT-R competes with the Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi R8 and Corvette. For a cheaper Nissan sports car, see the 350Z / 370Z / Z.
About ₦60m–₦160m for a standard R35, more for NISMO.
No. Nissan ended R35 production in 2025.
Older GT-Rs were Skyline models; the R35 GT-R is a standalone model.
